Keane and Keener

Somebody pinch me? is this a sweet dream or what? two concerts and freebies too. It was great to catch Keane and I gotta thank my main man Harry for scoring the tickets. I brought a friend, Tian who came along and bobbed and bounced to the front of the stage. Who takes my brain to another dimension and is really a close mate of mine.I really think that we are a hybrid cross between "Romy and Michelle" and "Dumb and Dumber" with a dash of "Save the planet and shave our legs" attitude. Yes we do make some wobbly moments and hicuppy snorts and thanks to the shiny poles and battles with ladies boys.

As partners in crimes and thank lord not the undertaker and god knows that being an undertaker means that business will survive the economy storm. When everyone is panicking for swine flu, the undertakers rub their hands together and say do you want a tissue? And if you pre-order a coffin do you get a discount? How much is an average coffin? Think it can be pretty expensive to take the stairways to heaven.

Anyhoos, us Romy and Michllettes both encourage each other for betta or worse to push our limits and do crazee tings. Which includes, swinging on a trapeze in Laos and crash landing in the water and she flung herself into a reckless somersault. (that's why am taking up trampoline so I can attempt to cautiously do the same!)

So since I am on a roll here some other side activities would include, shamelessly singing our guts at the Beyond Social Service Run with our trusty old ukuleles and potentially and many more other venues and working ourselves to a inglorious basterds mood with fantastic work-mates at the Positive Psychology Center which provides great adult psychology education.(not so long ago)Also, not to mention dancing like buffoons in Phuket and pretending to play tennis in the middle of the dance floor. Yeah, what a freaking laugh. We also work with like-minded friends whom volunteering and fundraising for a Thai orphanage, a leprosy colony in China, leading teams to the orphanage and another girls home in Chiang Rai more recently. We are two very nosy monkeys and hope to get some serious business done in a fun way.

It's been brilliant and we are looking to set up a Non-Profit Organisation to help people who have fallen through he cracks.

So back to Keane. My favourite song is " Everybody's Changing". Yes he is great life and had so much control over his voice and excellent showmanship. To be frank, I was not a keen Keane fan before but I might have to change my mind. His voice was totally on point and he was just literally drenched in sweat by the second song and had a power shower on stage. That was strangely kinda of hot, figuratively and literally. Anyhoos, I guess sometimes we have memories of our old friends but as time move forward, you find yourself in a different chapter with maybe different friends who change along with you.
